Orders
Can I return my order?
Yes, you can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. Please note that the risk of loss or damage during transit is the customer's responsibility and so are the return shipping costs.
Important: Custom orders/commissions and gift cards are non-returnable.
Once I receive the item(s), your refund will be processed within 14 days. You will receive a notification on this by email. For more details, please refer to the Refund policy. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch!
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Yes, orders can be modified or canceled within a limited time after placement. Please email me as soon as possible with your order reference, and I’ll do my best to assist.
Can I pick up my order?
Absolutely! By choosing in-store pick-up, you’re making an eco-friendly choice and help to reduce CO2 emissions.
As a thank-you for supporting sustainability, you’ll also receive a free coffee when you pick up your order. ☕ Enjoy your ceramics and a little treat, on us!
Do You Gift Wrap?
At the moment, I don’t offer gift wrapping. However, I’m happy to include a handwritten note with your order if it’s a gift—just let me know at checkout "order special instructions field"! 😊
When will my order be shipped?
Your order will typically be ready for shipping within 2-4 working days. For larger orders, preparation might take a bit longer, but don’t worry—you’ll be notified by email if there are any delays.
Do You Offer International Shipping?
Yes, I ship to selected EU countries! During checkout, you’ll see if your country is available for shipping. If you have any questions about international delivery, feel free to get in touch.
What If My Order Arrives Damaged or Defective?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email me within 48 hours of receiving it. Be sure to include photos and a brief description of the issue so I can assist you as quickly as possible.
Products
Do Items Vary in Size, Shape, and Color?
Yes, since each piece is handmade, slight variations in size, shape, and color are completely natural. These differences are part of what makes handmade ceramics so special—they add character and uniqueness to every item.
Are the Ceramics Dishwasher, Oven, and Microwave Safe?
Yes, my ceramics are dishwasher safe, although I recommend handwashing to preserve their longevity.
I do not recommend using them in the oven or microwave. Many of my pieces have an unglazed exterior, which can show smudging over time when in contact with fatty substances.
With proper care, your ceramics will stay beautiful and functional for a long time.
Clay Classes
Do You Provide All the Materials Needed for the Classes?
Yes, everything you need for the class is provided—clay, tools, and glazes. All you need to bring is a towel, and an apron (optional), and of course, your creativity!
What If I Miss a Class in the 4-day or weekend Course?
All course dates are fixed, so please make sure to note them in your agenda. Classes missed will generally not be substituted or reimbursed. However, if you do miss a class we can discuss the situation and see what the possibilities are.
What to Wear?
Wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little messy. Generally clay can be washed off. If possible, keep your fingernails short, it makes working with clay easier.
Studio Membership
Are the mentioned opening hours fixed?
Generally yes, however depending on your overall desired schedule some flexibility might be possible. Please reach out to me at hello@studiobymin.com for inquiry.
Can I leave store all my glazes, tools, etc.
You will be provided with a shelf and a box where you can store your work and your own materials. If for example the box is not sufficient to store your equipment please inform me to discuss. The tranquility of the studio space is important.
Can I rent the whole kiln to fire my work?
Yes this is possible, please contact me for the terms and conditions and prices for bisque and glaze firing.
I want to cancel my membership, what should I do?
Studio membership is a commitment (when purchased) for min. 3 months. Thereafter there is a notice periode of 1 month and the effective day is always the first day of the month. For example if you would like to stop your subscription as per 1st of June, you need to give notice latest 30 April.
