Studio Membership

Love ceramics and want more time to create? Join as a studio member and enjoy access to the Studio to work on your own projects at your own pace. 

The membership is for the self driven ceramic enthusiasts who know how to work independently in the studio.  You'll be part of a small welcoming community of fellow makers.

Memberships at Studio bymin: 

The enthusiast: 15 hours per month - EUR 147

The devoted:  24 hours per month - EUR 216 

What's included?

• You'll have access to the studio during designated member hours.
• We work with timeslots per 3 hrs (includes clean up time), which will need to be booked in a booking system.
• When two slots on the same day are booked, you can use the studio for the entire day (within opening hrs). 
• The number of member places is limited, to guarantee equipment and tranquillity of space
• You get to make use of a potters wheel (Shimpo RK-3E), tools, and basic materials. 
• You will be provided with a shelf and a box where you can store your work and your own materials.
• Firing services (Nabertherm top60) for your creations (at additional costs which will be calculated based on the size of the piece fired). The kiln can only be used by studio staff. 
• Studio glaze (available: whites and transparant) and underglaze (various colors) can be used to finish your piece (at additional costs per finished ceramic) or you can buy your own. If you would like to have other glazes you can purchase this yourself. Please do inform me on this prior to firing to ensure the glaze is compatible with the clay and firing schedule. 
• Clay can be purchased at the studio. The clay bodies offered are: white, speckled white, and light brown (all stoneware and price is dependent on the clay). Unfortunately it is not possible to work with earthenware in the studio as this requires a different firing temperature. 

Current general opening hrs for studio members are: 

• The minimum duration of the membership is three months and the contract will be extended automatically. After the initial three months period there is a one month cancellation period.  
• The monthly memberships start on the first day of each month and ends on the last day of the month.
• Before becoming a member a physical meeting at the studio will be planned, for you to get to know the studio space, its practices and guidelines, and for me to get a sense of whether indeed you are able to work independently in the studio.
